Anaeko’s Open Data Business Model mini-pitch competition invites entrepreneurs, students, technologists, graduates and industry professionals to identify an opportunity to monetise open data.

In teams of no more than five people, each team must describe their idea in no more than two pages, present their idea in no more than two slides, and deliver their elevator pitch to an expert funding panel of judges in no more than two minutes.

The judging panel includes Belfast’s Digital Innovation Commissioner Jayne Brady, OpenDataNI Portal Lead Cormac McConaghy and Siggi Saevarsson from Kernel Capital.

The goal is to showcase sustainable businesses using open data, and facilitate cooperation between public sector data custodians, private sector innovation, and business funding.
